Volunteer Coordinator Community Research Engagement

Role Summary:

The Volunteer Coordinator will lead Covalent Clinical Research’s grassroots engagement efforts—recruiting, training, and empowering volunteers to support clinical research awareness, participant navigation, and community events. This role blends logistics with relationship-building to ensure volunteers are equipped and inspired to advance Covalent’s mission of equitable research access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit and onboard volunteers from diverse communities
• Develop and deliver training sessions and orientation materials
• Schedule volunteer shifts and manage event logistics
• Foster a culture of inclusion, purpose, and professionalism
• Track volunteer hours, feedback, and impact metrics
• Coordinate with site staff and outreach teams
• Support health fairs, educational sessions, and recruitment drives

Qualifications:

• Experience in volunteer management, community organizing, or public health
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Passion for health equity and community empowerment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Familiarity with CRM or volunteer tracking tools a plus
